Here some feedback to you guys

First Impressions by the Demo:

  • Runs smoothly and well done with the camera job
  • You guys forgot to hide the FPS Count
  • The visuals are great, good quality, pretty solid
  • Good Music!

Level 1- I played the first level and… honestly it’s a bit strange because I only had to push the button down and the game does the rest … it was like a watching a video that only plays while I press the button.
If this level is a tutorial, I recommend saving it for the full version and show a level with more features in the demo.

Level 2 stays at a infinite loop.

Yes, the first level is indeed a training level to introduce the controls and get people used to the self steering mechanism. I see what you mean though. Maybe we should add one more level with some challenges.

I like the models and the truck physics.

One comment - when any of the vehicles go airborne in the video there are small white puffs that come out from behind the vehicle. I’m guessing this is exhaust? It just caught my eye because it stood out as being slightly unrealistic compared to the rest of the art.

Keep at it. Good luck on the funding.

i am a mac user and loved the look of the game!!! but there appears to be an error when i download it? i.e. i am unable to unzip the file

Hi soundguy

Not sure why the zip does not work. I made a PKG file that will install it for you. After installation you will find it in your applications folder called O3DX_Tech_Demo.app.
You can get the new package from this link:
Download the mac demo.

Minimum requirements: 2.3 GHz Core i7 with 8Mb of Ram

Use the following keyboard controls:

For Mac users:
Arrow up - Accelerate
Space Bar - Brake
Arrow left - Tilt Backwards
Arrow right - Tilt forward *“*R” : Restart the level CMD+q: Quit

For Windows users:
Arrow up - Accelerate

Steam Greenlight update:

As you can see we might not have enough yes votes to succeed. The ratio of yes/no is fantastic, which means that players really love the game and the concept. In fact it’s way above the average for the top 50. This means that we would make the top 25 if steam judged an item by the percentage of votes instead of sheer number of yes votes.
