Sure you can hack a bit of cloth or particle simulation in a GPU, but they still have a long way to go before even getting near NovoDex.
Somehow I think Ageia is not overly concerned
Yep sure i would also suspect a PPU is far ahead but on a machine without a PPU and when the GPU/VPU/whateverPU is idle why not let it calculate it…reminds me of fractals on GPUs… ;O)

Yep, i watched them on another link where they were much bigger but i can’t remember the url right now. Anyway toyshop looked quite great while the ruby video was just awful. nVIDIA has far better presentations than ATI, except Animusic http://www.ati.com/developer/demos/macss2/index.html they did for the R350.
