Old computer & performance

I got pretty old computer:
Amd Athlon 3400+ with 2G RAM& video card is main board integrated via S3G.

Seems like I got bad performance even most simplest game.

Do you think my computer is way too old or maybe I am doing something wrong?

So:
Should I try code better performance on game / or is my computer so old that I cannot get good performance anyway?

I’m pretty sure your computer is just way too old. The CPU you’re using, for instance, is literally over a decade old.
