Old Graphics Support

I recently upgraded my company’s product from 3.2 to 3.4 and the transition was great. However, now that our first build has been released I have found a problem.

My company sells to elementary schools for the most part, and most elementary schools have computers that are 10 years old. Even with the old computers though, in 3.2 these computers were able to run our game with reduced settings. Once I switched to 3.4 though, these computers just hit a black screen and sit there indefinitely until you restart the computer by holding down the power button. If you are running the game in windowed mode you can force quit the window, but if you are in full screen you have to restart the computer.

I thought this problem was only related to very old eMacs with terrible graphics cards (Radeon 9200) but it just happened to another mac user who is using a Radeon HD 2600.

I guess I’m just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem before. I get absolutely nothing in the log files. It basically looks like I am hitting an infinite loop of some kind that locks up the processor. I guess I’ll probably send in a bug report, but I thought I’d see if anyone else had run into this first.
