This looks promising.
I like how animation looks - it is smooth, like in streetfighter.
And room-background also looks nice.

How do you approach for the combat mechanics?
Your animations needs more attitude. It’s very stiff right now. However, it’s great overall.

Kinos141 you are right but attack animation here are just a placeholder animations for test
prince WIGUAN i use 2D rigidbody for motion, 2d boxes for damage area and 2dpolygon collider for hit area (hand animater for every animations) plus varius state machine for check motion status and attack status

ok , now the game start to look like a real game
actualy i done all the stage rule, cinematic intro/outro, fx manager, slowmo manager,
also i fix mesh models and made new animations (and more anime style)

I don’t like the genre, but I’m Italian too… and I think your game has a very good quality
This is really well made. I like everything about it so far. I like the character models and their animations the most. Really good stuff. I also like that your keeping it small. Only 8 chars (looks like you already have 2 finished from the video) and a single boss instead of trying to make this giant fighter game. Are you working on this by yourself?
Personally I think it would be cool if you downsize the project even more, like by half. 4 playable characters, maybe 2 or three different areas to fight in and 1 boss or no boss at all. And then you could add more characters and arenas down the road as download content/ add ons. But how you develop it is up to you of course.
Anyway, really cool stuff you have shown so far, keep up the good work.
This looks really nice. I’ve never really been a fan of fighters, but the art really sticks out to me as something good. Some of the attack animations could use a little bit of a tweak as they don’t seem to carry much weight and look a bit slow (the lighter kicks and punches), but for the most part the characters move fluidly. And you’ve got very expressive faces.
You’ve shown good work here. Keep at it!

for snowconesolid : yes i work alone on this (like all my games) but only this character for now is final , the other one is only an old test, for the characters numbers i think 4 is too low , 8 give me a good variety and i already have done the design for all characters, here for you my old concept (some character take changes) :
for the bonus contents i have already in mind some skin packs (mecha, swimsuite, halloween ecc) and in future 4 new charactes if the game go fine
for Blacklight : hehe i think you are right , i look for this after i finish all character animations, ( i need to finish fast all anim for this character and finish my fighter code, after for all character is only graphics to do)
