omg..Help, Character Rigging isn't Working

I’ve have been trying for hours to import characters from 3ds Max and use them in Unity 3d. It isn’t working, I have 300 Mocaps all ready for rigging my character and it’s not working. The model is exported in fbx format and when it gets to Unity it doesn’t work. It doesn’t register the bones or animation.

If someone could help me out or do this for me you can use what ever mocaps you want and you can use the model. Which by the way is VERY NICE and professionally done. I’ll post a pic…I didn’t make it so I’m not taking credit.

Hey man!
If you could send me the rigged model, I could try to figure out what`s wrong. You could also try to export the .fbx and try to reimport it into 3dsmax again, just to see if its the exporter that messes things up.

Which 3dsMax are you using? Which Fbx plugin do you have?

Unity 2.6.1 is not fully compatible with FBX 2011 - quite often people get problems with animations. Unity 3.0 will use FBX SDK 2011.2.
