LUMINA Realtime GI URP v2.1.0 has been released at the Unity Asset Store!

LUMINA v2.1.0

  • Fixed an issue when using the system in Unity 2022.3 or Unity 6, when Game and Scene view were both open and Edited Lumina script variables, then use Undo, would lead to a memory leak. For Unity 2022.3 and Unity 6 it is also recommended to use the now available Unity 6 Beta, that also has support for Forward+ in Unity 2022.3 and Unity 6 URP and supports the new URP RenderGraph. The Beta is available on request in ARTnGAME Discord Channel or ARTnGAME [E-mail].

Honestly, why not ask a dedicated environment artist to make some dedicated demo scenes for you, the scene you show is good enough for the functional display of your asset, but not enough to promote its visual superiority, people need a curated scene, it needs to be beautiful enough. It’s striking that, at the moment, you’re showing a scene that’s a bit too rough for the asset benefits of global illumination. You can work with a dedicated environment artist to bring to life in the hands of a professional and how much it can improve the picture.

Hi Alan, thanks for the feedback, for sure will consider this for later videos material. Also i agree in the latest videos is now shown specifically how the global illumination changes the scene lighting, so made a video specifically showcasing this in the classic Sponza showcase scene, using a GUI and alternating between disabled and enabled indirect illumination.

LUMINA URP 2024 Major breakthrough in the development, i managed to get the voxelizer work directly in the new URP RenderGraph in Unity 6.

This means that will not be essential to toggle to the BiRP pipeline to do the voxelization and also the system will be future proof for the case Unity removes the BiRP pipeline in next Unity versions

LUMINA URP 2024 Native URP RenderGraph voxelizer in Unity 6, Sky ambience, no Temporal AA, High Quality setting.
