On-line Docs need a "Report an Error/Request Update" button

Title says it all, you need a button so I can tell you when your documentation is outdated or wrong, example:

Quote:
“Please note that only StartCoroutine using a string method name can be stopped using StopCoroutine.”

How many months has that not been true? A single edit of less than 5 minutes would update this page to talk about StopCoroutine with IEnumerator or Coroutine as params.

This is just one example amongst myriad that require attention and letting your users tag the docs would help you guys go over them immensely.

EDIT:
Hell, why not just have a “Suggest Edit” button, where I can edit the docs myself?? I’d have done that for StopCoroutine out of the goodness of my heart for you guys… You’d just have to read and approve it. haha

Cheers,

We had exactly this feature last summer, and got around 300 recommendations, which we’ve been working on.

Pretty sure I’ve fixed that problem in the 5.0 docs, not sure it’s make it into a beta release yet.

You had this? Woa, bring it back when you’re done processing that then!

Thanks!
Cheers,

Well, as I have been saying a lot here, we’re intending to have a github/bitbucket kind of solution so the community can make changes.

@BlackLotus , see also http://blogs.unity3d.com/2014/11/12/improving-the-unity-5-documentation-based-on-your-feedback/ for some more information about this

Awesome, I haven’t been following the forums lately… You guys are obviously way ahead of me, gratz!

Thanks gents,
Cheers,
