The two methods mentioned above, when running on android, built with unity 5.0.4 are called only after the application regains focus.
OnApplicationPause - once with true and once with false
OnApplicationFocus - once with false and once with true
Anyone managed to get this to work properly on android?
On Android, when the on-screen keyboard is enabled, it causes a OnApplicationFocus( false ) event. Additionally, if you press Home at the moment the keyboard is enabled, the OnApplicationFocus() event is not called, but OnApplicationPause() is called instead.
I use it to save data because if Android needs a resource it can kill your App.
