one button doesn't work on gamepad after exporting to webgl

My attack button with xbox gamepad is rt and it works in unity, but once I port to webgl you can’t attack with anything but the mouse.

I could be wrong but I believe webgl uses xbox pads via directinput rather than xinput.

When accessing an Xbox pad via Xinput, the triggers are mapped to two axis and can be used separately. When accssed via direct input, the triggers are mapped to one axis so can only be used one at a time.
