Hey!
Excited to tell everyone that I just released my first android game on Google Play Store. The game is called One Trick Fish and is a pretty simple, casual game with a pretty interface. This is actually my first game that I have ever released. It would be really awesome if someone would try it out and give me some feedback

There are more screen shots if you follow the Google Play Store link, but I might also add some pictures here later as well.
Thanks for reading this post and have a great weekend!

I like the fact that for a first game you decided to keep it simple yet polish it out very well. Thumbs up from me, sadly I don’t own an Android device.
Looks polished i like it.
A few things:
The white text on the upper white sky is hard to read.
The hit area for the fish may be too small? A few times I think i got it and did not and then game over after 15 seconds. Basically the games should last a bit longer.
Which leads to final issue. After I play for 15 seconds or so I get forced an ad to play again. And the first time, 2 ads. Too long. I know ads are important of course but it may be too much. You don’t want to lose everyone right away. Maybe have the ads once every 3 games or so, or make each game/lives longer.
@joni.giuro Thanks, really exciting that you noticed the effort that I put into the game
@caldepen Yea, I know that the text can be hard to read. I actually changed the color of the font to slightly more grey just because of that, but maybe I did not change it enough.
The hit area aspect is something that I have been playing around with a lot. I think I made it work, at least when I tried it out, but maybe it is different on other devices with smaller screens? What device did you play it on?
I have actually heard from quite a few people already that the ads are annoying and too frequent. I actually might do an early update to fix that problem.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to play the game and give me feed back!
I played it on a Galaxy S3. Nothing too serious, it just seemed a couple of times I thought I got the fish but did not. Must be hard to balance this kind of thing out I suppose if the hit area scales with the screen?
looks good. Glad its not another flappy bird clone
@caldepen Thanks for trying it out!
I used the S4 (slightly larger screen) when making and debugging the game, and I thought it was quite good in the end. I know what you mean though, it can be quite frustrating at times and something I might improve in a future update. Oh and btw, I updated the game to show less ads
@JamesLeeNZ Haha thanks man! What did you think about it after playing it? Anything that I can improve or polish?
