Online Development triangle limits

Hello all

Considering starting an idie project with some friends, I’m an experience 3D artist and was wondering what kind of triangle limits should one set when working on online games?

How many triangles can the engine handle?

The engine can handle a lot of triangles, as can most video cards short of a GMA 950. Multiplayer doesn’t really figure into the equation.
