Is anyone else only getting 30fps as soon as a speedtree comes into frustum?
I run a buttery 60fps, but as soon as a speedtree mobile comes into the frustum, I immediately drip to exactly 30fps.
I’ve tried all LOD, disabling colliders, but none result in any change to fps
There is a known bug that if a text mesh is intersecting a object mesh it can cause the fps to drop to 30fps. This might be the cause, can you check and let us know?
Does it still happen if they are disabled? I have 8 text meshes in the scene, but none of them intersect with any object meshes and they are all disabled under normal circumstances.
I should note - I am running 5.5.1p2
Can you send a screen shot or description of the project, so I can try investigating on my side with similar set up?
What rendering method are you using?
I have a single obj file (house) ~ 50k tris, and an Alaska cedar mobile tree outside (manually placed on obj file’s ‘yard’). Rendering method is vertex lit.
Can you file a bug report and paste the Case Number here so I can take a peak and investigate?
