Is it possible to create an open world environment, with a relatively high amount of detail, that does not require the player to load up at certain, pre-determined areas. Examples of what I want to achieve would be the landscapes in Fallout: New Vegas, Just Cause 2, and MineCraft. Maybe the world will load in the background as the player walks, I'm not sure. If this is possible, how would I go about achieving this?

1Yes, you can use proximity and view detection to fire LoadLevelAdditive or get asset bundles or load models (like OBJ) on the fly.
Please ask seperate questions and do not necro-post / hijack other questions. Anyways, because of the way Unity / PhysX implements drag, this is not that trivial if you have several things affect the velocity. You can calculate the [final / terminal velocity like I explained over here][1]. [1]: https://answers.unity.com/questions/819273/force-to-velocity-scaling.html
