OpenGL Draw does not overlap GUI components


I created a 2D simulation in which I have a map area and an animation on the map area with a start and end point. There should be a basic white line drawn from the start position to the end position. The Line gets generated with OpenGL Draw. In the beta version of Unity 5, the line appeared on top of the GUI objects. However, now with Unity 5, the OpenGL Draw does not overlap GUI components and the line appears behind the map area.

Is there a resolution for this? The draw line should appear on top of the map area, behind it.

The image component requires a material to be assigned versus the default of none. If this is done the line draws on top of the image.

You can try changing the Z position of every object to match the laying order you want. Try putting it up than down observe the changes and hopefully it will layer correctly. Good luck!
