Im new to Unity and im having a hard time opening a third person tutorial in to unity. ive tried to import the assets but i think im doing it wrong can anybody help.
For the tutorials, I think you just look for the scene files and open one of those.
thanks that worked im so stupid for not seeing that. isnt there a book thing that comes with it telling you what to do because when i press play all it does is show a black screen? WTF!
I wouldn’t say stupid, just maybe not too thorough in guessing. When I first started using Unity, I expected there to be something like a project file which opened the whole project. Opening a project by opening a scene seems strange to me.
Which tutorial are you trying? I haven’t really done the tutorials, but if you let me know I can check it out or somebody else might have specific file names and such.
