marcan42 has released an opensource driver for kinetic. Microsoft should not restrict Kinetic to games only. It can be as inovative to Human Computer Interaction as touch interfaces were a few years ago.
I actually have tried it the day before release, played few games - and you know, was so impressed by the quality of body/arms movement recognition - the damn thing is seeing you for real. But not all games are intuitive and easy to use. One that worked flawlessly was adventure game (you driving balloon boat on the river). Another example is a dancing - just WOW! But car racing game was barely responding (and that wasn’t fault of Kinetik, just pure game design).
