OpenXR compositor layers?

At GDC, it was announced that by 2023.2, OpenXR compositor layers would make it into the engine. Any news on that front?

I am also looking for OpenXR compositor layer support. Any news on the implementation, is it available in any beta/alpha versions yet? I would like to replace the OVROverlay.cs script with one that would support other headsets as well.
