When using “Optimize Game Objects” in the character rig import options, scale no longer animates on a joint within the hierarchy. There is no skin attached to that particular joint but a simple mesh is parented to it. And the mesh does scale when optimized is not on. I also tried exposing the scaling joint in the rig import settings, but still no luck. Anybody has any additional info about it? Is not optimizing the only way to get scale to work?

This is not something we are aware of, please log a bug with you project and some repro to expose this issue.
