Hey guys and gals…

We wanted to post here and show everyone our upcoming game published through Chillingo and built with Unity!

The game is called ORC: Vengeance

ORC is an Action RPG for iOS devices. You play as an Orc Warchief set out for revenge against an ancient evil. The game is being published by Chillingo and will be released July 26th.

We really wanted to thank Unity and the excellent community here as you guys made making the game a lot easier :slight_smile: We plan to show some “making of” videos and blog entries on our website in the coming weeks, and will definitely re-post them here if anyone is interested.

Looks really good. Great Gamespot preview for you too.

Congratulations on your upcoming release! It looks great.

I’m curious, the GameSpot article doesn’t exactly say the size of your team, was it just the two of you? How long did development take?

Thanks for the nice comments.

Sean: We’re planning on releasing for Android. Just need to get iOS all squared away first :slight_smile:
Zapgun: Big Cave is basically a team of two. Ryan built all the levels and I wrote all the code ( aside from the plugins we used ). We did however have three other excellent guys we contracted for music, sound and character art. Simply put, they saved us. The article unfortunately didn’t make mention of them. Oh… and of course our play testers and voice actors ( whom we hired ).

Witch game kit did you use as the engine? I see you listed 2DToolkit but did you use that for all your RPG elements?

Very great work! Of course we can judge the visuals only, but those are in the top 5 unity games for iOs i’ve ever seen. I will definitely buy this to my iPad.

Thanks for the welcome! :slight_smile: Gotta say Shadow Gun and Dead Trigger are awesome and were quite the inspiration for what could be done with Unity! Really cutting edge mobile stuff…

I just bought this, very well done, I honestly hope it does well.
It’s not being featured by apple, I wonder why.
Btw, any reason why not launching this on the PC/Mac too ?
