ORNATE CASTLE for Unity 5,with full level set in a unity package with full PBR

Ornate Castle for Unity 5.

After many months of development, we are proud to release the first in our new series of Higher Poly models set up for Unity 5, with full PBR.

The product is delivered by download as a unity 5 package, complete with full level, as depicted in the promotional images here - that’s right, you get the unity level with the complete castle se tout, with PBR materials, lighting and HDR.

Each piece of the castle is modular…every wall, turret, archway, corbel… This means that the castle is already setup to maximise culling and LODs. Initially the pack already contains an LOD system, in so much as, the texture details on meshes, then have built up polygons making up the detail further, thus we have an Arch mesh, then each curve of the arch as a separate mesh, excellent for culling and LOD.

We will soon be adding Step 2 of the LOD system, to each piece on the castle, and this will be available as a free update to any customer who purchases this week.

Product Details:

Full Castle Poly Count - 800k

LOD - Lod Verisions of each modular piece will be provided free to customers within a few weeks of purchase, and the unity package updated to include the LOD’s already setup.

Purchase below at just $59. Every customer who purchase also gets a trial 1 month membership demo, allowing you to check out the other 3d content in unity.

The pack also includes the Flags, which utilise unity’s cloth physics system.

This is a fantastic looking castle system and PBR is the icing on the cake.
Really like the inside texturing and feel.

Also on a side note anyone that had membership can upgrade to PBR addon which gets you this as part of the upgrade.
Just got the addon yesterday, and the price was worth this alone, not to mention I will have access to everything else as they covert there library to PBR.

Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Thankyou John, really glad you like the model. I see this project as an evolving one, whereby we will keep adding other room Interiors, and building sections, making the castle expansive.

Look forward to the additions.

Bought this as an add-on to my lifetime membership on the day it was released. Finally had time to go through it. It’s a beautiful model, needs a bit of setup. I wasn’t aware Unity 5 was that good, when I was looking at the inside I thought the floor was missing until I realised it was the reflection of the room. Bloody hell Unity 5 is a big improvement on 4, never quite sank in that until I saw this. As it stands it’s great value, however, if any developers are interested in the model go and look at the Arteria site personally I think it well worth getting hold of a lifetime membertship. Arteria is a bit of a treasure trove and a lot of the content is not well sign posted other than a bit of text in the description. Whenever I can’t find certain props on the asset store Arteria 3D never lets me down although it’s always the last place I look because, as mentioned, a lot of content is not highlighted. Case in point - I needed some food models, hanging meats etc - well they’re in one of the content packs as set dressing. So if I have one complaint about Arteria3D it’s that it could do with images of everything in a pack, even if it’s just a group prop image.

Anyway getting off track with my gripe. The model is great, makes excellent use of Unity 5s new stuff. looks beautiful and is modular, though not as much as I was hoping it would be. Great work again.

Your delight in the model, is the reason I create them. Thankyou so much

The lod system for the castle is now being worked on and unity 5 makes easy work of this with the built in lod system.

Incredible detail. Lots of rich content. Looking forward to the LOD version.
my lower spec machines struggle to do really high def stuff

Thankyou, really appreciate it
