Hi,
I just built my project with Unity 4.6.1 and tested it on various configurations. In the Player settings, I set the Mac fullscreen mode to Capture Display (instead of fullscreen window). On a late 2013 rMBP that allowed to test the Retina resolution.
Problem is, that an external display that was set as the main output screen remained black. The external monitor was a 27" Dell display @ 2560x1440, connected via DisplayPort. In OS X, you can set the main display, which in this case was the Dell, not the built in Retina, in System Preferences. Later I will try to set the internal one.
The game as such worked, with the launcher offering resolutions up to 2560x1440. I heard the sound of the game, with both screens black. Launching the game windowed works.
So, is this a bug or intentional behavior? I.e. that you can’t output to a external display with Capture Display mode?
Also, there doesn’t seem to be a way to select which display to output to?
