That app isn’t running on an iPhone - it’s running on a Mac.
I used Screenflick to record my demo videos - it’s the cheapest software I could find that had all the features I needed.
ah, so a they make a standalone application and than
run that, ah, make sense!
Most iPhone developers record the app in the simulator. Since Unity doesn’t compile for the simulator, recording from the game view is your next best choice.
I use ScreenFlow and highly recommend it. (I usually do a screen recording a couple of times a week so collaborators without devices can see the progress made.)
There may be a way to record your iPhone screen with a jailbreak app – I haven’t kept up on that.
Ive been using Snapz from Ambrosia, and that works very well.
I use a script to capture frames in Unity, and then combine the frames into a movie using VirtualDub (it can be done as well in iMovie, but this seemed to be about 60 times slower when rendering the movie).
I also used an iPhone to record a movie of someone playing the game on an iPod. Like that you can better show off features using the accelerometer, and you can also see the player’s fingers.
Maybe next time I’ll use a better camera instead of an iPhone for this.
Capturing ios screen with the recorders is really easy. There are many screen recorders but only a few of them are trustworthy. I personally use Airshou screen recorder. Many users were facing issues with it. But, you can download the working airshou app on iphone/ipad
