Other board gamers at Unite in Montreal? Anyone up for games?

Are there any other board gamers making the trek to Unite next week? If so, I could be persuaded to bring along some titles to get an evening’s (Wednesday or Friday) gaming in … Settlers of Catan, Pandemic, Ticket to Ride, Downfall of Pompeii, Memoir 44, etc. Even something as light a fare as Zombie Dice.

Alternatively, if someone could bring Power Grid, it’s a game I’d like to try to make a buying decision on.

My list of currently owned games is here if you’d prefer some other titles (I’m always up for a game of Combat Commander Europe, btw) …

Let me know.

Cool

If I had the baggage space I’d totally bring my copy of Space Hulk, but I fear with all the kit I am bringing for the conference I won’t be able to…

But yeah I’d totally be up for playing… pretty sure other attendees of the “Unity Board Game Night” might be up for it too!

Space Hulk is a blast. I’ve only played it one evening with friends but it was a fun (and tense) three hours of gaming.

I’ve got room in the car to bring most of my games, but that’d be a bit excessive I think.

Since I’m pretty sure there will be other board gamers there, I’ll make sure then to pack a few of the better games into a second bag to make a go of an unofficial “Unity Board Game Night”. Looking forward to it.

No reason for it to be Unofficial  I am sure we will give it a seal of approval

Games are packed. I’m bringing: Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride (with 1910 Expansion cards), Downfall of Pompeii and Zombie Dice.

If anyone wants me to toss in Pandemic (the co-op game of disease fighting) post now. Tomorrow morning will be too late.

I have heard great things about the Settlers game and would like to try it. Would a noob slow you guys down too much?

Nope. More gamers the better. I takes maybe five minutes to learn the basics. You’ll not have any problem.

The question is … do I bring the bag o’ games with me day one and assume Wednesday night is gaming night? Joe, thoughts?
