Our First Unity App!

Hi all, got to say loving Unity and it’s relative simplicity compared to X-Code! We are ploughing heavily into Unity iPhone and have 2 apps almost done. The First App we are launching in the next couple of weeks and we are very proud of it. Only could have done it in Unity! It’s called Squid Kid and it’s a platformer with a mix of 2D and 3D! Now all we have to do is market it :wink:

Hi Guys sorry for the late reply I went on hols! We are HOPING to get it in to apples hands the next week or so! So will keep you posted, we are gonna do a vid soon so as soon as I get one I’ll post it :wink:

I laughed at the enemy descriptions on your site… they were completely pointless and because of that, rather funny.

Ha ha yeah you have to see the puns we have when the bad guys actually chat to Squid Kid!

Looks awesome! Is it controlled without d-pads and stuff? That’s what always really annoys me about iPhone platformers, way way too fiddly ^^.

It’s not controlled with the D-Pad we have a cool drag system. I find the D Pad on the iPhone really hard to use, my thumb slides off it too easy!
