Our Hero! Hyper Sword [Live on Kickstarter]

Hi everyone, I’m Ste!
It’s been a long time since I’ve been in an online community, except for Facebook pages and groups.
So I hope I will enjoy my stay here on the Unity Forum
I make indie games for several years and I started my journey with Rpg Maker.
For more than a year I moved on Unity now, discovering a new awesome world. I learnt how to code in C# and how to use Unity. In this way I started working on my dream game: Our Hero! Hyper Sword!

Our Hero! Hyper Sword is an action-adventure game (or also an Hack 'n Slash) set in a fancy world with characters similar to cats.
I drew all the game resources, like the environments, characters, HUDs. The original soundtrack is composed by two nice guys instead, whose they are collaborating with me: Enrico Cascavilla and Raffaele Murri.
In short I do everything but the musics :stuck_out_tongue:
Coding, game/level design, storyboard, assets, MARKETING: as many of you know, manage everything is not that easy (and a little bit stressing lol).

So, why am I making this game?
Because I like make video games is the short answer, but actually I’m making Our Hero! Hyper Sword mostly to grow up my Unity skills and to achieve something valuable for me and for the others.
I’m learning how to handle communities in a proper way, understand the value of socials (like Facebook, Twitter etc.) and last but not least, I’m having an experience abroad (Glasgow, UK) to learn English (I’m italian and I love English!).
As I said at the beginning I made games for several years, but they’ve never been nor professional nor marketable.
With this last project I wanted to push myself over my tiny indie world and dedicate myself to a project that can be salable.

Our Hero! Hyper Sword borns two years ago. At the very beginning resources and coding were very rough. I tried anyway to get some funds starting a Kickstarter campaign. The first Kickstarter campaign was awful, so it failed. At the same time I posted the game on Steam Greenlight and after a few months the game was greenlit.
The development has keep going over the years, while I had many different jobs around for make money to invest in the project.
So last September arrived, I moved to Glasgow and I decided to invest all my savings in the project.
I planned the game release for September 2018 (I’ve given myself a year). I had been too optimistic =D
Remake the game from skratch with Unity and bug fixes took me a lot of unimaginable time.
And now we are nowadays! One month ago I realize it was too late: time and money was running out, so I needed a plan B.
Learning from previous mistakes, I launched a new Kickstarter campaign.
After this long story about me and the game you might like to check it out. That’s the link:

As everyone knows, a crowdfunding campaign needs to be shared and advertised in order to succeed. In short, you need to make yourself known.
I would be very grateful if you can help me sharing this Kickstarter campaign on the socials or talking about it in your YouTube channels if you have one (you can also text me in this regard).
On the Kickstarter campaign page you can find everything about the game: from the description to the latest playable demo
Thank you very much guys for reading up to this point, it’s a really pleasure share this little piece of story with you!
And now… Enjoy the game!

I would change the heart health bar if i were you. Most games that use it are labeled as “zelda ripoffs” even if they are not.

For Hack 'n Slash genre i really like when games put a combo system(i mean the combo grade u get A+,A,B+,B and the list goes on)

Seriously for 1 guy managing all that it’s really amazing.I solo develop a game on android,it is not as ambitious as your project but i know how hard it is. For me the game looks really good, its a genre i love sorry if i can’t provide anymore feedback.
