I am working hard on a gaming project for mobile platform.

  1. At first, i created an small environment with 4 streets and some beautiful city objects, then exported it to android APK. it work on my android phone like butter with ~7 sec scene loading time.
  2. Then, I make city more bigger and about 15 street. Now when I want to lunch it on mobile, problem showed itself.

Now in bigger environment, Loading of scene lasting more than 30 seconds and then, game stops running or in sometimes, scene loads but with less tan 1 fps. it seems It Suffers “out of memory” problem.
I think that unity loads all assets and models to memory, even assets that isn’t in camera view.

Now, i’ve posted this to listen your advises ( Should be there any solution for it etc: force unity not load assets to memory and load them from disk OR load assets that are in camera view via async)
