Package errors in every single project

I recently used DupeGuru to clear up some storage, soon after. Every project that I created, or opened, will always show the same error. I tried reinstalling unity, and updating packages, but nothing would ever work.

These are dumb tools.

It will find duplicate files for sure but that tool has not the least bit idea of whether these duplicates exist for a reason. So this probably deleted important files that all your projects have, that any project will have and use, and thus broke each and every project.

If you’re lucky it simply deleted the same files from all packages in the package cache. If so, deleting the entire Package Cache folder (with no Unity editor instance open) should fix this. If not, try reinstalling the Unity editor.

Rule of thumb: don’t use any of these “cleaner” or “optimizer” tools, they do more harm than good!

Thank you! Other files in the project are deleted, like fonts, textures, ect; But Unity finally works again!
