Hello, everyone.
Ever since I have been using Unity 2020, I have always had the same problem with the Package Manager;
Whenever I purchase an asset from the Asset Store and then attempt to download it using the “Download” button in the bottom right corner of the Package Manager in Unity itself, the following happens:
It starts the download, I can clearly see that by the progress bar, and then (always at some random point, sometimes 64.3 %, sometimes 0.3 % …) the download suddenly stops and at the top of the window, a red error message is shown, saying: “An error occurred (The download could not be completed. Please try again. See console for more details.). See console for more details.”
If I then check the console, it always says: “Error: Receiving data failed with unitytls error code 7”
There are some assets where this message doesn’t appear, but that’s very rare. My internet connection can’t be the problem, as everything else is working perfectly fine all the time. I have already changed my wifi stick, now it is at least less likely for the download to stop at a low percentage. I have also tried disabling my anti-virus programs and firewall temporarily and I am not using any proxy.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this annoying problem? I know, I could, theoretically, work without the Asset Store, but I just think it contains some very good stuff and I don’t see why I should be forced to waive that.
I’d be very thankful for any help!
Thanks in advance,
Emo
