I recently purchased the Humble Unity Game and Game Dev Assets Bundle hoping to get a head start on a new project with all the models and and extra assets it provided. After redeeming them all on my account and opening a new project in Unity they all show up in the package manager but as soon as I hit download on any of them I get this error:
UnityEditor.AsyncHTTPClient:smile:one(State, Int32)```
I've tried several fixes including uninstalling unity and reinstalling it but I can't seem to get it to work. Does anyone have any ideas?

Can you use older unity to download from asset store page ?

Same here, I cannot download this asset: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/characters/robots/medium-mech-striker-124342
Error: Receiving data failed with unitytls error code 7
UnityEditor.PackageManager.UI.AssetStoreDownloadManagerInternal:OnDownloadProgress(String, String, UInt64, UInt64)
I keep an older Unity version to download at this point, the manager seems to be years away from working properly.

I’m not using VPN at all. Wifi is normal, nothing fancy or different.
Updating to 2020.2.3f helped temporarily but after a few hours the error shows up again. Error code 7.
I’d suggest checking out the pinned thread here about connectivity issues. There may be a firewall/vpn config lingering causing you problems.

same problem. I cannot use my assets because the package manager refuses find even one (2020.3)
Disabling the firewall helped thanks
I had to tell Windows Defender to allow Unity on private networks.
I noticed in latest unity version the firewall make things stuck in many cases, this should not be the case as this never happens in unity 2019
