The page will load correctly, but you are not able to mark any steps as complete. The comments on the page for the overview and first steps are full of people who also have not been able to mark anything complete.
I tried sending in a ticket quite some time ago after really wanting to get it to work(Kinda frustrating that I can’t complete the pathway since the last page is broken) but have yet to get a reply. I have tried several browsers and none of them have changed anything, it is only this page that I have found that does not work.
One of the pages comments said that changing the engine version helped them but doing so just causes the page to break and turn the page white. I know that there is a lot being worked on but it’s kind of upsetting when the onboarding material is broken for so long. It would be nice for this to be fixed finally so people don’t get welcomed with broken training material, so they don’t end up assuming other stuff is broken if they are struggling with something.
@NealEdu - Is this still being resolved? If there are no engineers working on it, it might make sense to have the topic unsolved or reopen a new topic until it’s solved. Still an issue at 06th December 2024. A few problem solving notes below:
Unity Version selection 2022.3 by default is the only version available. All other versions appear to load, freeze then reload into a blank white screen. I tried opening each one, leaving them and reloading them but they are all unresponsive. There does not appear to be a URL change between when it loads and when it transitions to a white screen.
“Mark Step as Complete” buttons appear to respond with a short loading animation but the button remains highlighted and there is no further response.
A final submission was attempted, the site has retained the submission details including site, links and “Additional Description” but no “Are you a robot” Captcha has appeared and the “Submit and Continue” button remains greyed out.
Also as an additional note the whole course was glitching while I tried to complete it. Previously completed tutorials would become uncompleted. Sometimes I had to repeatedly restart and complete the Tutorial multiple times before it would remain completed or reload the pathway introduction a few times and re-enter the tutorial before it would work again.
Sincerest apologies that it has takes so long to address these issues with the Pathway. I believe we have implemented a fix, but there are a few steps involved for those who have already completed all of the previous missions.
In short, I have moved this submission tutorial to the Mission Checkpoint of the Prototyping misison, and removed it as a Pathway Checkpoint. But in order to activate this, you will have to go into the Prototyping Mission and find the prompt to “View new version” of the mission:
This completed, you should be able to go back into the Mission Checkpoint, which should now be incomplete, and open the “Submit your independent or guided project.” Voila the buttons should work now (I hope).
Please give it a shot and let me know if this fixes the problem for you. And again, so sorry for all the delay and frustration!
All good, thank you for the rapid response. I’ve tested the resolution and it is effective. I’ve successfully completed the course.
Additional notes for anyone attempting the same solution; you re-enter the course from the Mission Introduction, I believe this is the URL (Creative Core Pathway - Unity Learn).
When you switch over the progress from your previous attempt is preserved and you only need to re-enter the Final Mission and submit the entry.
Thank you again for the solution and good luck to everyone else.
Have a good one, Regards Nick.
Still a problem, though I experienced ups and downs since I am learning (since ~December 2024).
However, after a one hour break my whole progress in the AR pathway is suddenly gone and the buttons to “mark step as complete” are not working at all anymore.
I am having the same Issue. The version that I am using is version 6. I cannot complete the pathway as there are tutorials that are not being recorded as completed after the page has been refreshed.
These are the tutorials that cannot be marked as completed in Unity version 6 and is preventing me from completing the pathway.

I have already submitted the guided project. I tried marking the mentioned above as completed but after the page has been refreshed, it would revert back to being uncompleted.
Hi @Chrissu001 , can you please try again with the Pathway as we have made a number of fixes and think that most issues are resolved.
If you continue to have problems, please let us know and include screenshots and URLs from the pages that aren’t working, and additional detail about what OS, Browser, and version you’re using.
I’m having the same issue with the Tutorial “Introduction to user feedback and testing” from the 5th mission in the Junior Programmer pathway - the same way Chrissu001 described. I tried switching to the two older versions, and I was still having the same problem.
Edit: I checked 4 days later and now it’s marked as complete.
This issue appears to be a known bug with the Unity Learn platform, particularly on the final page of the Creative Core Pathway where progress tracking is affected.
