One of my two paid accounts (dating back to 2008) was just deleted by Unity during the big switch to new subscription pricing (effective 2/1 or 2/2).
I can’t get work, can’t get any response from support, and all the automated tools show my account as “already migrated”. Support request filed as #84642.
I lost a full week of work, I learned that no one at Unity is looking at support requests, and I learned that it takes almost a full week to get anyone from Unity to even read a forum post about a critical customer issue.
There was a time when Unity made sure licensing issues were handled within 24 hours. Now it seems that time is “within a week, if the user posts repeatedly on the forums.”
Yes, someone from support has finally bothered to look at my support request, presumably as a result of your reminding them they have customers who can’t work and bug reports they need to read.
Everyone at Unity involved in both community support and customer support should be ashamed of what didn’t happen here. It should not take a week to get a forum post read or a bug report looked at.
It didn’t take me a week to read and answer your thread. If there are forum threads posted on Friday evenings I have already left work for the weekend, which does cause a couple of days delay in replies. Now I also helped get your case escalated with the Support team (who are flooded with support cases), so telling me to be ashamed of my work does not really encourage me to want to help you again.
