Hey all, I just released my Unity game, Paranautical Activity a few weeks ago. Figured I’d come by and share. Questions and feedback are more than welcome!

I agree, it does have this certain something, doesn’t it? Love it!

The look/feel that you’re using voxels is quite cool… not sure I’ve seen this done in a large-environment 3d fps type of setting before. However, I gotta say watching you play it, the camera movement is really nauseating. Maybe because the environment is quite dark and so it’s hard for my eyes to lock onto stuff, it seems like it’s jumping all over the place.

@imaginaryhuman I’ve never had any motion sickness/nausea myself, and I haven’t heard any complaints of it occurring yet…

Haha, thanks man. The really flashy, vibrant visuals sort of happened on accident as we were developing, but I’m pretty happy it turned out that way.

Are you actually using a voxel system because just using cubes and “pixel” art is not what voxels are.

Actually. Cubes is a type of voxel system.

Level design is excellent. Gameplay looks pretty good.
