Hi there,
I installed Parrelsync for better testing my VR project using Netcode.
Unfortunately i run into a strange issue. When I have the 2 instances of Unity opened, I only have 1 where I can actually enter the game and walk, etc. I cannot give focus to the other instance of Unity and then enter the game.
Does anyone know if this is a setting or something like that in Unity? Before, when I tested my application with one build version (CTRL-B) and another instance in Unity, I didn’t have any issues.
Thanks for any help!
Cheers!
Are the two instances correctly connected via networking? Perhaps something failed there.
Sometimes the clones go out of synch so it may help deleting and recreating the clone via Parrel’s menu.
Or perhaps the editor window is simply frozen. Sometimes even Windows itself messes things up, from time to time I have Windows that are in the background, I click on it, I can control it but it remains behind all other windows. Therefore a reboot is also worth a shot.
Thanks for your reply.
Regarding the networking connection, I use direct connect via local ip address. But I can’t get to the point to connect, because when I have the 2 instances running, I’m not able to activate the window to start host or client.
And reboot is already done, but no effect there.
