Particle Emitter problem

I am new to Unity3D so please forgive me if this is a stupid question.

I have to particle emitters rotating in such a way that they form a storm. The way it is set up, The user would be able to control things like it’s size and speed. My problem is that when there are too many particles out (At least I think that is the problem) The particles tend to flicker. How can I go about fixing this?

In your particle render component, try changing the ‘Stretch Particles’ property from Billboard to Sorted Billboard or Stretched.
