Particle system not working propely when converted into a UI particle in Unity 2018.3.0f2

Hello,

I have a particle system which uses a texture sheet animation, using a 5x6 spritesheet (Settings attached below). It works perfectly fine when i use it as a normal Particle system, but the moment I apply the UI particles script to use it as an UI particle in my canvas, it breaks and plays very weirdly.

Here’s a GIF comparing the faulty UI particle version (on the left) to the normal version (on the right):

This is without any change in the particle systems at all except the addition of the UI particles script.
Any help shedding light into this problem would be really helpful. Thanks a lot in advance.

What UIParticles script are you using? Is it the community one?
