Any suggestions on using a particle system to create a realistic waterfall?
It’s a hard one - very few people do it using only particles… Usually you have a polygon behind it with UVscrolling as well…
One method is outlined in this paper, but that requires quite a bit of setup. The idea is sound, though: animate particles by screengrabbing video.

The one in the grass demo is using particles and works okay.
