Particle systems become bigger when i put them on a gameobject.

So i was recently following a tutorial on a particle effect (lightnings) and i wanted to put it one of my gameObjects and when i did that the whole PS became way bigger and started emitting huge beams which is just odd. When its on its own, the PS works fine but the moment i put it on another GO it goes nuts. I’ve been tinkering with this for a while now and haven’t found a solution so i anybody knows the reason for this, an explanation will be very appreciated.

Maybe you have the transform working in local instead of world, this means that if the parent object is resize, it will resize your child, and in this case the particles couse they are childs from that gameobject
