Hi all, I was a bit mistified as to why my particles weren’t appearing, until I switched to 3D veiw and saw that they were off the 2D plane, even if I move them back in half the particles are vanishing through the plane. My camera is set to Orthographic and the setting 2D. Any ideas as to why this is happening, is this normal? Thanks for any help ![]()
No idea whether it’s supposed to be like this, but basically I had to move the camera right back and then the particles between it and the 2D plane, all working fine now! ![]()
There’s nothing different between 2D and 3D settings. All it does is set some things out of the box for you, like the ortographic camera, the scene without skybox and imagens being handled as Sprites.
But for all intents and purposes you’re always doing things inside a 3D space and everything works the same whether you’re in “3D mode” or “2D mode”.
Okay thankyou, I just hadn’t come across the problem of the particles not appearing correctly before or appearing behind the scene, had me confused for a short while until I clicked on 3D mode, I’ve moved the camera right back and put the particles in the space in between. ![]()
