Particles clipping too soon

Hi there,
I have a 3rd person game and my character can pass through a series of particle systems (fire particles). The camera is right behind its back, following it.

I got this nasty problem where I can see the particle system from a distance, but as soon as I get close, particle start to be clipped until they completely disappear.

Is there a way to avoid this behavior and do not clip particles when the camera gets near to the particle system?

Try changing your near clip value on the camera.

Changing the near clip seems to have no effect (in the linked other problem also). :confused: Puzzled.
