How works the pathfinding in unity 5? only in 2d please.
Currently navmesh is in the x-z plane - so unless you’re doing a ~2.5 D platformer (edge-on view of navmesh) the built-in solution is not suitable. We’re working on better 2D support.

Can you give an approximation how far away is the better 2D support is? Maybe not in specific time frame terms but … near-ish, far or “don’t hold your breath”?
