PBR textures.

I am really struggling with PBR. If anyone could offer insight or critique my textures/values/uses etc I would be very appreciative.

I am using a metal rough approach. I have tried basing my albedo values on the dontnod pbr chart. Specifically the metal rings on the barrel are the ‘iron’ value. However I am fairly sure I have used it wrong as the metal looks particularly bad.

The wood roughness I believe needs to be much darker. Initially the metal was a lot lighter so that might have thrown me off.
Am I using the metallic mask correctly? With clean metal of this nature it should just be a solid mask right?

It’s metal smoothness, not roughness. (and the metal should probably be more smooth than it is now, depending on what you’re going for of course).

The metallic mask should be 100% white. Although we could argue it has some dust on it, so what you have could be considered fine. Depends on what you’re going for.
