It is sci-fi RPG inspired by titles like Fallout 1 and 2 or UFO: Enemy Unknown.
The game takes place in future, after last world war. Earth is largely destroyed, and people survive behind walls of city states, under control of large corporations. Other survive in the wasteland, where the only valid law, is the survival of the fittest.
The story is focused on four main characters, they work as mercenaries in a complicated world, where the line between good and bad is blurred. During the game, you will accept various missions for powerfull corporations, clans or individuals.
Every mission can be finished in multiple different ways.
Forbidden Unit is a complex game with a wide range of game mechanics, that will allow you develop your own play style. You can decide if you want to play stealthy, and eliminate your enemies silently. You can also avoid them completely if you want. Or you can go to direct combat, in turn-based mode.
The environment is destructible and interactive. Dialogs and decisions have an impact on the story, and sooner or later you will face consequences of your actions.
Playable characters in the game get experiences and improve their skills.
Each character in the game has its own inventory. All items and gear can be bought, stolen or taken from fallen enemies.
