Well, looking back a few years later, I guess I can really see how much I’ve progressed…
First, you’re using the word ‘stereotypical’ wrong. You’re saying your game’s a stereotype, but not what it’s a stereotype of. Second, the map - I can’t even tell of what it’s supposed to be. Little/sparse actual gameplay footage and nothing captivating. I’m sorry, but it think this needs a lot more work.
I think this is a joke to check if people actually like all the unity powered games , or the good ones.
If not,
Bro you might be good at writing and concepts , but your art and gameplay COMPLETELY SUCK.
This is one of the ugliest games I’ve seen , plus it doesn’t offer good gameplay based on video. I don’t know why you bought a mobile license.
Just seeing that pink-yellow gradient makes me cringe.
Jesus Christ, what is wrong with you. I just joined this forum, and I thought it was based off positive reinforcement.
I’ve built a couple of Android Unity games myself, and I like this. Sure it seems like it could use a lot of work, but for a first project, it’s amazing. And I disagree, I think if you change a few things, the game looks good for a mobile game.
I decided to be kind for a change on here, so i bought it, here are a couple of suggestions:
1. Try to fix the lag on older devices
2. Make the controls a lot simpler
3. Make the game a bit easier
But believe me when I say this, it is really really scary.
Don’t judge this game based off those poorly made videos, try playing it first.
And also, I’ve learned that its best not to record it off of Unity, try jail-breaking your iOS device and record it off there. The quality is much better. The game looks good when I played it.
Again, if you take a closer look at this game, Its really not all that bad, and even if it was, I gotta agree with 3 here, just don’t be a jerk about it. I’m certainly not going to buy any of your games Byteprogramming, if you think it sucks, maybe give him some tips. At least SevenBits was polite about his opinion.
No problem, Its called common curtsey. Even on the internet.
Ignore people that feel the need to jump in and tell you how terrible your game is without offering any constructive feedback. We all start somewhere, and what one person is good at, another might not be. Just because your art isn’t amazing doesn’t mean your game can’t be.
That said, I can’t really offer criticism on your game as I haven’t played it; however, I would recommend that you have some people playtest it before charging money for it as it would help you a lot more in the long run.
