I have installed the most current builds of both products (Unity and Perforce).
When working on our project my Unity Editor is very laggy (takes sometimes 20 seconds to register a mouse click) although the CPU load is at 1-2% and RAM and GPU ain’t a problem either. This problem also results in 2-4fps when starting the game in NON maximized mode although I get 300fps when using maxmimize on play and 450fps when using built version.
I tried everything even a complete reinstall.
The only thing I was able to identify is when perforce is not configured in the unity client, performance is great.
So I looked into resource monitor more closely and found a PerforcePlugin.exe running with constantly >25kbit total data traffic, but I don’t know why. When using P4V there are no such permanently lasting data transmissions.
