Performance question to terrain settings...

I want to paint a terrain with some detailed stylized textures and now wonder what is a good value for getting good results and allows painting smaller details onto a map while also being performant?

I am testing right now with this settings:

Is a terrain automatically using LOD based on distance or culling?

Any info welcome!

Performance questions are best answered by creating a small test for the actual target hardware you intend to run on (NOT THE EDITOR!), then making a development build and attaching the profiler via Window → Analysis → Profiler.
