I am developing an app for android in unity 5.0.1f from last 2 weeks. We bough a Pro license yesterday. Thought of building an apk. We are able to open the personnel edition project in Pro Edition. While building apk we are getting an error duplicate apk already prsent. it shoes path to Temp folder of project folder.what could be issue. Is it because we made project in personnel edition and upgraded to pro…?
I saw a post in my search stating that, we are not supposed to use project made with Personnel edition in Pro version. Because meta data created by unity will store the license details whether its made of personnel or Professional. Is it true.
Do we need to rebuild the complete project in Pro again to build apk…?
Well sense you mentioned meta data, you can try renaming the Library folder to LibraryOld or something (make sure Unity is off), then just start Unity back up and it will re-create all the links and stuff needed.
If that don’t work, you can just erase the new Library folder and just rename the old one to Library instead of LibraryOld
Renaming Library didnt solve the issue. Somehow I have re created the entire Project again and its building the apk.
But the new problem is that If I am trying to build apk on my laptop ( the previous one is on Desktop ) , I couldnt build the APK again. It gives an error as below :
Error building Player: CommandInvokationFailure: Failed to build apk. See the Console for details.
C:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.8.0_45\bin\java.exe -Xmx2048M -Dcom.android.sdkmanager.toolsdir=“C:/Program Files (x86)/Android/android-sdk\tools” -Dfile.encoding=UTF8 -jar “C:/Program Files (x86)/Unity/Editor/Data/BuildTargetTools/AndroidPlayer\sdktools.jar” -
