Physics are way too bouncy

Im trying to make a little jenga game for Leap Motion but the blocks are not solid enough, they slightly go into eachother and shake like crazy sometimes. Is it possible to make them actual solid blocks that collides perfectly?

Hey, did you make it work? I’m trying to do the similar thing and I would like to know the fix to that

It can have to do with how you’re moving the blocks. For example, when you move using the transform instead of the rigidbody, it does a teleport to the location basically ignoring the colliders. During the physics update you can then have the blocks move because of the overlapping colliders. If you keep moving the blocks into each other with the transform teleport, the physics system will keep moving them back when it checks for collisions. This can look like overlapping and jitter to the player. It is usually better to use the rigidbody to do the movement in this case, because it will respect the colliders instead of teleport into overlapping positions.

I’m using rigidbody, and the default plugin from leap motion and their controller for picking up the blocks (pinch pick up with two fingers). I would just like for other blocks to move less when I pick up some block, I don’t want to stop them from moving completely, but you know… Like when I try to move something under few rows, I can catapult all the rows above if i move my hand up haha Maybe add more weight to it or something?
