physics materials not behaving the same in different scenes

I have 2 scenes using the same prefabs objects:
A prefab ball the player controls and a floor piece.

But in one scene the floor is alot more slippery then the other scene.
When I freeze the game, and check the inspector all the same physics materials are in place.

So whats going on here, is there perhaps a global setting for a scene influencing physics materials behavior I missed?

I set the frinction combine from average to maximum and now the floor seems to behave more the same accros all my scenes.
