Hi there.
Please take a moment to check out our vector drawing and animation app Pictopipe. Especially if you are an artist - we want to see how far you can push the tools to make cool artwork (our coder-art skills are not up to scratch!).

We would love to hear your feedback on how to improve the app. Please tell us if you have suggestions for new features, or you found a bug, or if something was confusing or difficult to use.
Quick tips for the editor screen:
- Click the shapes in the top right to add one to the canvas
- Click the shape icon above these shapes to show a menu where you can create new shapes and change the shapes that show in the bar
- Click the colour palette icon below the shapes to access all the fill options (including images inside Textures section)
- Animation keyframes are created automatically (there’s no button add one)
- Hit the Share button at the top when you’re done to share in the app!
We also made a custom skateboard creator – see http://pictodeck.com
I feel like the biggest thing that would cause people to not use it the fact that in order to even see what the program is about they need to make an account. Could you possibly add some sort of free draw mode that let’s you play around with it? Maybe make it so if they want to save what they made while not logged in it will ask you to register.
So many things require registration nowadays I prefer not to register for stuff personally unless I know it’s worth it to begin with and there are no images and no feature list for me to go by either on your site. I would love to test run the capabilities, but I just can’t be bothered with registering for something I don’t know if I’ll like.
Basically, a demo mode would be great.
Agreed, without even a screenshot or video of what it is, that account login screen is really offputting.
Thanks for the feedback guys, I totally agree with you. Actually that was the original plan but we changed to enforce registration during the early development to control access. Hopefully we have made too many problems for ourselves by assuming logged in status and will be able to change that back fairly soon.
BTW @FlaxSycle, congrats on the grant for Assault Android Cactus!
You can now make your animations without logging in. Try it and show us what you can make!
